Do you long to create, but struggle to make time,

Welcome! I know that to be human is to be creative. I'm passionate about sharing creative experiences within a safe, ceremonial space. Painting is embodied prayer. Let's paint our prayers together. I'll show you how.

You are invited to experience the pleasure of putting paint on canvas or paper. Enjoy the accomplishment of completing something uniquely yours. Sit in circle with like-hearted people. Find the satisfaction in creating a simple yet beautiful sacred object to support your unique walk through this life. Think you can’t be creative? We have ways around the inner critic!

Create Your Own Rattle

September 11 + 25, 2026 in Kingston, Washington

  • Making your own medicine items and tools can be deeply satisfying and well-supported by All That Is. Rattles can be used in many ways: singing, praying, and clearing. Stitching and adorning your own deer rawhide rattle can be fun, and a sweet way to create in community.

     We’ll gather and create intentions for our rattle, then we’ll stitch our shape and stuff it with sand. After drying, we’ll meet a second time to remove the sand, add the pieces inside to make rattle sounds, and attach it to the handle. Then we’ll bring out their individual natures, looking at a variety of rattles for inspiration and various ways of decorating them to hold the energies of your intent. You’ll leave with your very own working rattle, made special with your intent and energy.

Horse As Muse-Inspired by Equus

September 18-19, 2026 in Kingston, Washington

  • Horses have inspired our creativity since the earliest times. When we sit with horses, their huge hearts offer us connection, a place of quiet, of reflection, and insight.

    In this 2-day painting retreat, we’ll let the exquisite experience of being with a horse inspire our painting. Maybe you’ll paint a horse, maybe a face, or perhaps a mythical creature will arrive with a message for you. The Muse will be our guide!

    Within a safely held energetic space, we’ll gather in circle to share, to journey, to journal, and to set our intentions. We’ll meet our equine companions (safely). We’ll paint in the barn, working with the step-by-step process of intentional creativity.

    No painting, art, or horse experience needed.

    We will not be riding. All that’s needed is your curiosity and willingness to participate. We’ll have additional time to visit with the mares as we discover the images and messages wanting to come through. We’ll share meals and stories, laughter and perhaps tears as we open our hearts and our inner eyes and ears to the messages from our Horse As Muse. 

  • You’ll leave with a colorful 16”x20” painting inspired by your time with horses. In this 2-day workshop, you’ll have the option of staying overnight at the farm. Reach out for details.

Reclaim Your Creativity

  • What do you dream of creating? You are a creative being! Creativity is part of your human essence. Come explore ways to engage your creative self, including support to call your inner critic’s bluff. 

    Your inner creativity is always there, and like a muscle, it grows with practice. Beginning with simple, low stakes activities within a supported space, your creativity will be nourished to grow. With bite-sized experiences, you’ll be introduced to creative journaling and intentional ways to paint.  

    Creativity thrives on curiosity. It takes endless forms. Creativity is playful. You get to make a mess or have fun your way. Magic happens! Creative self-expression is also an effective way to process your emotions and experiences, as well as input from the world around you.

    While creativity can look like anything, this experience is oriented towards visual self-expression because that is where I have the most experience and knowledge to share.

  • You’ll leave with a handmade creative journal and prompts for future creative and playful explorations, as well as structured support to continue building your creative muscle through the coming months. In a 2nd daylong workshop in March 2027, we’ll work with acrylic paints on canvas using the intentional creativity process to create a painting around your intention. No painting or art experience needed.

    Engaging a gentle process within a safely held container—a ceremonial space—you’ll have the support to connect with yourself and your creativity with time to reflect, journal, and discover a new perspective. You’ll leave with new ideas about your gifts represented by your colorful painting on beautiful watercolor paper. All materials provided for this 4 hour experience. No painting or art experience needed.

Soul Cards

  • Claim your wisdom and create your own oracle card deck. Gathering for a day (or two) to journey and journal, we’ll receive and gather messages for our cards.

    We’ll be inspired by a reading, and quiet time sitting within the big heart space offered by Annie the horse. Through journeying and journaling, the energetic container will support you to transform your inner critic’s voice into potent, positive messages to remind you of your wholeness. We’ll splash paint on yummy watercolor paper to make your personal card deck of 16 – 20 cards, all within a kind and safely held space.


    All materials provided. No painting or art experience needed. We’ll meet in person for the first day, but could complete either in person or online.

Meet Your Muse

  • You’re invited to engage the intentional creativity process to discover, meet, and paint your muse. Our muse is a part of ourselves that inspires and guides our creativity. It could be your inner child or inner elder, your animal ally, a mythical being, or . . . ? Our process creates the space to journey inward to meet your muse, receive their images and messages that will become part of your painting.

    We’ll engage a gentle process within an energetic container to support your connecting with yourself and your creativity including time to reflect, journal, and perhaps discover a new perspective. We’ll be inspired by readings, sharing in circle, and quiet time sitting within the big heart space of Annie the horse. The energetic container will support you to meet your inner muse, and befriend them. They hold gifts and messages for you.

    You’ll leave with a colorful 16”x20” painting in acrylic on canvas, a portrait of your inner muse to remind you of your inspiration.

    All materials provided. No painting or art experience needed. This can be offered as a 1-day, 2-day retreat, or longer with many different muse themes.

Creating Ceremonial Objects

Create a Feather Fan

Dates To Be Determined

  • Ever wonder what to do with that special feather? You’re invited to make a fan for blessing or smudging created within ceremonial space.

    Our winged relatives often leave us gifts of their feathers. Each bird carries its own message or medicine. There are many different ways to structure a fan depending upon your feathers and how you want to use it. Together we’ll create fans from your feathers, plus some I’ll provide, using non-toxic white glue and leather scraps. We’ll tune into our feathers and feel how they want to go together. Then we’ll bring out their individual natures, looking at a variety of fans for inspiration and a variety of ways to decorate them to bring out the energies of your intent.

    We’ll be creating for most of a day to allow time for the layers of glue to dry. You’ll leave with your unique personal fan. Materials provided. We’ll use your feathers along with some of mine.

Create & Paint Your Hand Drum

  • Create the sacred heartbeat of your intentions, and then paint the heart song of your drum.

    Drums are ancient partners in prayer, music, and dance. We’ll gather for a day of intentional creating in ceremony as we birth our own unique drums. After the drums dry, we’ll gather a second time to dedicate and paint them with the songs and messages we receive.

    You’ll leave with a completed drum and drumstick, painted to reflect your drum’s unique medicine.

    All materials provided. Choice of hide. 2 meetings, each up to a day in length.

  • If you can’t come to Washington, I could come to you. Let’s create an experience around painting or making ceremonial objects and invite like-hearted people to join us. Many of my offerings are in response to a request. What are you dreaming of creating? I have lots of ideas. Some of the places I dream of teaching are California, Oregon, New Mexico, and Mexico.
